DESCRIPTION
Hilton mine is one of the most relevant classics in England, usually field-collecting is prohibited as the area is on a military base. When this material came to the market over 10 years ago I saw almost the whole material from an old local collection. There were larger ones, there were spectacular ones - but with an eye for detail this little piece was the best I saw and had. It unify all important indicators - incredible luster, clarity like cut glass without any cracks or inclusions - simply ge,m-quality and finally this thin light blue zoning along the edges. The free-standing exposed main crystal is twinned and up to 17 mm on edges. In perfect condition! Ex Dr.Prof. Marc Robert Friedman coll.
