Calcite with Celadonite (M487)

€0.00

Irai, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Two generations of scalenohedral Calcites. The smaller ones are pure white and colorless. The huge spray of larger crystals show colorless other zones and dark green phantoms. These inclusions are Celadonite. The large crystals grew in all directions - a very tri-dimensional and highly aesthetic assemble. Great contrast! The specimen was NOT extracted from the rock - it is developed as floater. The bottom is covered with Celadonite and smaller Calcite crystals. It is oure perfection - absolutely undamaged. And color is great - often Celadonite looks more grey than green, but not so here, wonderful green!
