DESCRIPTION
A really gorgeous crystal! There are two indicators which make this specimen very rare and special: first the locality, material from the area is very hard to obtain - there are no new relevant discoveries since a long time. Second point is the color - it is red in the lower two thirds and yellow in the upper third. Red and yellow are both very rare colors for Tourmaline! Further this piece much more attractive than any single crystal - it consists of two inter-grown crystals, so it has more value and looks more impressive than just a single crystal. The end-points show pyramidal end-points and all faces show the very best luster you can imagine - and clarity and luster are even better in person. The piece looks great all around, there is no less attractive angle. No significant damages to report.
