Carletonite only occurs at Mont Saint-Hilaire in Québes, Canada. It forms exclusively in marble xenoliths. Excellent specimens were found intermittently between 1983 and 1987. The color of carletonite is a beautiful royal blue and the crystal size is exceptional.
