Zircon (M679)
The exposed main crystal is 20 mm across, it shows dark red color, sharp termination and highly lustrous faces. It is set on very light, glossy shists matrix. Specimens of this size, well-exposed and on matrix are hard to obtain today and I have seen only a few in the last decade or so turn up, from old collections.The locality was discoverd in 1973, most amterial came out until end of the 80ties.
