The locality produced the best samples of Strontianite world-wide - usually this mineral is colorless and developes tiny crystals. The color and the dimension of specimen from Oberdorf makes this locality so famous. The particular specimen shows uncommon good luster in union with very storng color and an assemble that looks like a torch and it shows two horizontal stripes with an even darker concentration of color. In wonderful condition all around!
