Titanite (M765)
Years ago Lapis magazin published an issue about Hbach Valley - they named it Valley of the green fire - and there couldn´t be a better description of this out-standing specimen! The photos cannot capture this intensity of color, this sparkling luster, this tri-dimensional assemble. The specimen is developed as floater - it consits of two large intergrown crystals - they are inter-grown in a 90° angle along the longitudenal axis. The crystals are framed with tiny Chlorite crystals along the edges and show this crazy color in their centers. Although it looks nice on my photos, it is so much better in person and a true alpine treasure!
