The razor sharp terminated crystals are up to 71 mm on edges. They show excellent luster and an incredible strong daylight-fluorescence - the photo was done under daylight, but only can give you an idea of the true color. Greenlaws mine is the only mine next to Rogerly (now Diana Maria), which is productive for specimen mining. The mine was originally a lead mine, closed 1884, then in the 1940 not sucessfully re-opened for industrial fluorite-mining. Finally in 2010 a group of local field-collectors started with specimen mining and brought a very limited number of these fantastic specimens to the market. This particular specimen was published in Lapis magazine (issue 09/2015, page 31). Ex Robert Brandstätter coll.
