The locality was former a part of Hungary, today located in Slovakia about 25km in distance to the Hungarian border. The locality is really historic, the history goes back around 2000 years, since 1922 the mining area is closed - this specimen is at least over 100 years old. And this is really precious opal - intense blue with green, violet and red flashes. The larger pieces is rich of finest Opla at front sides and reverse. The second smaller piece shows one milky area with light flashes and as little gift a third small cut Opal will come with these pieces.
