Calcite (M780)
Rare old material! The specimen features a group of sharp terminated crystals set on small matrix. The matrix is at the reverse and also you can see the framing with matrix on both side of the exposed main-group. The crystals show a very attractive texture and the typical yellow color in a very good intensity for the locality. The largest crystal is set in the ceneter, a second larger one is above and a few smaller ones at the lower base. All of them show a very good transparency and translucency. This material was found decades ago and is now very hard to obtain - when you do some research in the internet you will find loose single crystals for higher prices than I ask for this piece with matrix.
