Tourmaline (M061)
Fantastic open sky-blue color, great translucency (no backlight, just daylight was used for this photo), highly lustrous faces and sharp termination are the most relevant indicators of this wonderful crystal. Tourmalines from Piaui valley are more rare - this one reminds a little bit to crystals I know from Teixerinha mine, but more intense in color and with better clarity. And one more little detail: at the base you can see tones of dark green color. if you look careful you can recognize two smaller size crystals - also these two crystals are end-pointed and not broken, so I would say this piece is in excellent condition. And there is no less attractive angle, the luster is on same high quality all around. But one last word about clarity and translucency - I used photoshop only to generate the background - the crystals is like seen on the photo when you set it just on a white sheet of paper - doesn´t need any lamps or light effects.
