Rhodochrosite, Quartz, Tetrahedrite, Pyrite (046)

Casapalca Mine, Lima Dept., Peru

8,9 x 8,6 x 5,8 cm

Rhodochrosite on the common market usually comes from Uchucchacua Mine - from Casapalca very uncommon and rare. Most of the crystals are 10 to 13mm across, one even 16mm. Very fine contrast with white Quartz and sharp terminated, lustrouse Pyrite. Also the backside is very fine, smaller crystals but good assemble and some sharp and glossy Tetrahedrite crystals. Undamaged, accept the bottom was on the rock.
