Fluorite, Quartz (870)

Katherine Mine, Black Mts, Mohave Co., Arizona, USA

5,0 x 3,6 x 2,8 cm

The main crystal is 23mm across and up to 18mm on edges. Pretty, light green crystals stacked on a matrix of quartz. Good Arizona fluorites are relatively uncommon, and these are undamaged and have fine translucency! One side of the octahedrons are powdered with micro-crystals of Quartz. The assemble is very aesthetic, the specimen is even developed as floater. No significant damages to report.
