Fluorite, Quartz (514)

Rock candy mine, British Columbia, Canada

8 x 6 x 4,5 cm

This is the first specimen from this locality I'm holding in my hands. I think it's a very beautiful one. A very nice, green fluorite is hosting on small quartz-crystals. The fluorite looks very interesting, like a "ball". I'm not expirienced in crystallography that's why I can't say how this habit is called. The size is 3,3 cm in diameter and shows a nice color. At the backside is some limonite that makes this area a bit brown. I can't find any damages on the fluorite, it is crystallized all around, no nicks no contacts.
