Fluorite, Aurichalcite (283)

Hilton Mine, North Pennines, Westmorland, UK

5,8 x 5,7 x 5,1 cm

A very uncommon specimen from this well known defunct locality, which is famouse for the probably best yellow Fluorites on earth. The main crystals are twinned, gemmy, clear, at good color and they show sharp phantoms. The special thing is the Auricalcite in front of the main group. That is very rare for the locality and it is my only one with this combination. The specimen doesn´t show significant damages, main group is undamaged.
