Brucite (820)

Killa Saifullah, Balochistan, Pakistan

5,7 x 3,6 x 3,3 cm

Brucite is generally a rare mineral and already the first discovery in Pakistan two years ago was spectacular. The first find and also more recent material from the locality produced only pale yellow crystals. There was only one pocket that produced specimen in this exceptional, intense yellow color - the very best quality from the region. All crystals are lustrous and well developed. The specimen is developed as floater and can be shown in each position - I show two photos, the second one shows the piece roatated 180°. It looks very fine in each position.
