Brucite (819)

Killa Saifullah, Balochistan, Pakistan

3,6 x 3,4 x 2,4 cm

Brucite is generally a rare mineral and already the first discovery in Pakistan two years ago was spectacular. The first find and also more recent material from the locality produced only pale yellow crystals. There was only one pocket that produced specimen in this exceptional, intense yellow color - the very best quality from the region. All crystals are lustrous and well developed. This shows a very tri-dimensional assemble - hard to photograph and much better in person. One small part of matrix is intergrown to the center of the specimen. Complete all around and very showy in each angle. No significant damages to report.
